--one moment of ponder--

Ever since my finals are done, I had plently of time thinking about L-i-f-e. I'm nineteen this year but I came across with a lot of different people from all walks of life. And, I learnt something about the present. We need to be realistic and materialistic (of course not till an extent of sacrificing something/someone important in order to get what you want! ) in the society we're living in. I do not know about how you peeps think but to me, in order to survive and to be on the top of the ladder of success, you gotta act the oppossite way of Disney.

As I were saying, I came across with a lot of different people from all walks of life. I met with the past-people that still believed Disney story existed in reality such as the Prince and the Princess lived happily ever after and I met with the present too. People living within the society. People that worked so hard to achieve his/her goal in life. However, some sacrifice something precious or someone important for something they wanted in life. (Try to think smart here about what I'm trying to elaborate cause I do not want to offend anyone. If I do,sorry for my remark.)

For me, I had a moment of pondering about this. Frankly speaking, I'm the in-betweener. I still believed in love but I do not believe in such thing like forever love anymore. Please do not get me wrong. Yours truly grew up watching Disney cartoons, playing with Barbie dolls, believing Santa Claus delivering presents for the good kids etc. However, yours truly grew out of those fantasy things and got herself into the present which is being realistic and the world doesn't really revolve around those things anymore. We all have weakness for beautiful things and people too. We tend to want more and more and never satisfy for what we had.

However, I would definitely not gonna trade anything precious or someone important in my life for something materialistic even though I have a dream about how I want my future to be. I hope to graduate as a degree holder or possible a master holder(I have 2 years and a half to complete my double major degree in marketing and management), to be able to work for a fashion magazine or a TV/radio station, to be able to own a studio apartment, to be able to own a Mini Cooper or a VW Golf GTI,  to be able to own few LVs (though I had one now and because of that, I'm so addicted to branded stuff), Coach, Charles and Keith, Chanel and the list goes on. Thus, I gonna work hard and get it in the right way.

Yet, I do not quite understand why certain people can be so heartless and mean to get what they want. Also, people that sacrifice way too much for the word L-O-V-E...
If you peeps do get that or have a word about it. Leave me your thoughts...;)
