~ 10 things in 2oo8 ~

I'm reading darling sister Angelina's blog before I started off writing my own post~ Whoa, new look for her blog weii. LOL* It's true anyway. New year, new beginning, new start and new look..!! And so, I thought of giving my own blog a new look too. Though I started off blogging again quite late. Still, I'll keep blogging more often in the near future. Thanks to sister Angelina and best friend Khen ( happy birthday boy! ) that asked me to blog again few months ago. I do missed the passion of writing a lot..!! Anyway, moving on with the 10 things that happened to me in the year of 2oo8. There is a lot of ups and downs though but there is few things that are significant and I shall not forget. =)

• I'm outta high school and officially a Metropolitan College student~~

I bet everyone will miss high school life and all. I do treasured some memories back then. Still, I can't wait to get out of high school as soon as possible..!! I don't have much happy moments in high school. In fact, I been through 3 miserable years then. The rest is history..I shall not reveal much as I don't want to recalled it. As a college student and my life in college is an awesome one! Not only I don't get to see people that I don't feel like meeting them for the rest of my life, I also get to dress up casually and chill with my new found clique. I found friends that love and care me for me. *wink* I bet you know who I'm referring to as I have been mentioning about these people in 2 of my posts. =)

• Being part of Thespian club in college =)

I'm pretty sure some of you don't know what a Thespian club is. Well, Thespian club is an act, dance and performance club. In certain colleges, it is called Thespian club but some called its club with other names. Thus, being a part of Thespian member, I got a honour for performing in front of the royalties at Putrajaya early this year. In addition, I'm performing for my college prom too~ Also, we came out on the News Strait Times papers education section. Awesome! Back in high school, I'm always concerned more to academic performance. Whatever helps me to earn one point for my academic performance, I'll do my very best. Such as being a class monitor earned me a reward in college now. Double awesome!

• Finally I'm an officially 18 and I'm a legal driver..!! The best part is I haven't got into any accident~ * wink

Yeap! I'm finally 18 and so I'm a legal driver on road. LOL* I'm thankful that I haven't got myself into any accident. Be it minor or major, I'm free from it. wink* Even the most minor I ever did is that I forget to turn off the fucking lights the other day! Also, because of driving, I started off swearing more and more now. All thanks to my darling Angelina. She swear like nobody's business. Friends that actually been in my car all the time also started to swear like that. Angie girl, you got more and more apprentice everyday. Salute my master of driving!!

• I got myself called as a party animal~ (P.S. thanks to Shaun)

Right! I got called as a party animal the first time I met Shaun. According to him, I party hard! Because I don't need alcohol to make myself high on dance floor. I just need the right music! And that was the first time we went clubbing together. And that time was my 2nd time going to club. The night I started off clubbing is the night after the prom thingy. Fine! After that very night, I kept going back again. Of course, I don't stick to one club until M.O.S is here! LOL* I'm so in love with clubs and all until for my business communication project, I chosen M.O.S as my organization project. From there, a lot of conflicts happened in my group. In the end, I lose a friend though friends around and the other group members saying she's not worth a friend anyway. No matter how, I'll cherish the friendship we built though we think differently and we do our things our own way. Yet, the outcome of the project is perfect. Other group members and I became closer and our relationship with the lecturer, Mrs Malini grew stronger. She's like a mom to us. Love you Mrs Malini. Also, because of M.O.S, vivacious clan is formed. A friendship that will be sticking together through thick and through thin. Love you both~

• I met back my long-lost uncle John that went missing for more than 20 years!!

You heard me! I met him back few months ago. It was before aunt Theresa passed away. My cousins tried whatever they could to track him down and brought him to hospital to meet her. It is a touching scene. Family members all reunited again. Of course, thanks to Jesus too. =)

• Beloved Aunt Theresa passed away~

I kinda regretted that I didn't make it to hospital to be with her for her last breath. It is around 3 to 4am when she can no longer stand the pain and called upon Jesus to bring her with HIM. I'm sure Jesus is taking good care of her now. It's been a few months but I can't stop missing her. I thought of her on Xmas day that day and I admitted I cried but just for a while because I don't want to influence others~

• The grand party for granny's 80th birthday~

It is the biggest event in our family. From the thought of throwing a mini party at some five-star restaurant to a huge party in a five-star hotel! We started off the day with the tea ceremony with granny, followed by lion dance troupe specially invited back to aunt's place to celebrate granny's 80th birthday. At night, we have this huge party in Shangri-La hotel. I think there is about 100 guests in the guest list. We worked so hard for it. As for my task, cousin Lih and I awake for 3 nights in a row to complete the whole slideshow. Of course, our hardworks paid off! LOL* Everyone is satisfied. For the special day itself, Aunt Amy spent more than 10k for it~ Granny got treated like a little princess that day. She got a photo shoot of her own, professional makeup etc. Bah..Not gonna elaborate much bout it. Anyway, I wish someone will throw a party like that for me! Envy~~~

• Darling Angelina played Cupid to match-make baby & i~

This gonna be a hilarious part. Alright, like I said, I'm reading her blog before I started off blogging myself. So, one of the 10 things happened in her life is that she played match-maker. And so, this is what she wrote in her post :

i played match-maker. UNINTENTIONALLY of course. during a clubbing session for my late birthday celebration. my darling sis actually met my munky pardeep. through a misscommunication, they actually danced together throughout the night. TILL she forgets that she's supposed to go home at 1am. TILL she forgots pretty much everyone's existence. but it's ok sis, i'm glad you found love in this guy! now now, don't have to say thanks to me, just a year of endless Starbucks would be payment enough =P

And so, this is my reply to her. I don't know what to say or how to thank you. At first, I thought I gonna miss the clubbing session because I'm having headache. But I wonder, if I never gonna make it that day, would I actually meet munkey par? LOL* Anyway, I don't mind about the endless Starbucks. =) I know you're joking. I'm glad you're with Shaun now. As I don't have to worry or see the emo side of you again. *wink. Thanks for being our cupid! That's all I gonna say. =)

• Aunt Sam and Uncle Ng passed away..( R.I.P )

I, myself been attending three funerals in one year! During that mourning period, I thought about the facts in life. Life is too short with just seeing things in one angle. At times, we need to see things in another angle or more likely put yourself into someone's shoes. You will see things differently and you will think differently too. Just look at the bright side~

• Awesome Xmas..!! Felix Navidad...Felix Navidad...

It is an awesome Xmas for me this year. Not only I get to celebrate with Uncle John, I can actually feel the love and care during this season. Well, part of it, I get to celebrate with baby for the last few hours and Angelina on the other hand get to celebrate with Sifu Shaun. LOL* It is a blast for all of us I would say. So, I hope the coming new year will be the same for all of us...!!! Blessed New Year to all of you....Happy New Year 2oo9. SO LONG 2oo8..!!! Farewell...~~~
